Research Interests
- Develop
algorithms for distributed incremental data mining from very large
databases and distributed decision support systems. All the prototypes of these systems will
be developed and implemented in an n-tier client-server environment such
as J2EE.
- Develop
tightly coupled learning algorithms on Database Management Systems, such
as using SQL to implement rule learning algorithms, inference engines, and
uncertainty management mechanisms.
- Develop
knowledge-based systems to retrieve and manage useful and interesting
information from the huge amount of data generated from the web.
